I got the green light from our Pack committee to purchase a new track and timer for our Pack.
My plan is to get a 4-lane 42' Besttrack with a lift/leveling kit and a MicroWizard K2 Grand Prix package and storage case. We already own GPRM software.
We will likely only run 3-lane races, but sometimes district runs 4-lane races and we want to be able to host the district race.
Any recommendations? Other considerations?
Also - fyi - Microwizard has a 10% discount on their products from May - October each year.

You probably already are aware but figure i'd mention it again. Make sure you put the dowel pins in the uphill portion of the track to avoid bumps. And make sure to allow lots of time for 1st time assembly. We took about 6 hours the 1st time we set up our 3 lane scout track. Next year will be cake

ahh - here's the post I've been looking for.
Okay - we have 100% of the funds to purchase the track and timer - so I will place the order in the next couple of days.
Any last minute suggestions or "don't forgets" before I place the order?

Any reason for going K2 instead of K3?
Just curious.

We use a projector to display the elapsed times via GPRM on a large screen so I was using the K2 primarly because of the larger LED on the display.

yes it would Mood. It's funny to hear "Peel & Seal" - I always called it Bitch-a-thane.
Guess I need to win the forum quiz so we can figure out where that name came from.
