I got the green light from our Pack committee to purchase a new track and timer for our Pack.
My plan is to get a 4-lane 42' Besttrack with a lift/leveling kit and a MicroWizard K2 Grand Prix package and storage case. We already own GPRM software.
We will likely only run 3-lane races, but sometimes district runs 4-lane races and we want to be able to host the district race.
Any recommendations? Other considerations?
Also - fyi - Microwizard has a 10% discount on their products from May - October each year.

Is it just an illusion caused by the dado, or do the rear axles have positive camber?

Rough cut with a bandsaw, then rough sand with 1" upright belt sanders. That gets me close to final shape. The rest is done by hand. very nice. I hope to be at a point someday that I can get my focus of speed and put a bit more time into crafting the bodies. In my effort to find speed I know much of my prep is way overkill.

if the retainers are invisible (i-n-v-i-s-i-b-l-e) - what is the function of the white material on the axle? Is it a bushing for the wheel?

sweeeet. What kind of a machine do you need to make your own wheels like that? Someday I would like to try something with narrow wheels. Are the wheels held in place with a teflon washer on either side?

Thanks for sharing Dale. Did I miss your secret axle lube? Or is it the Stone Brewing Arrogant Bastard Ale? Great beer BTW.

your ears never stop growing until you die in North Carolina it is illegal to drive a car with out goggles Haven't noticed my ears getting bigger, but I have noticed more hair growing out of them as I get older. lol - yea, what's up with that anyway. I figure at some point you hit a crossing point where there is more hair growing from your ears then on your head....
