I am thinking about putting together a 3-5 person "committee" here on the board to help with input on such things as: Rankings Craftsman entries Who knows what.. I would like the committee members to have raced in at least 2 different leagues and have no vendor association. The intention is to decrease the amount of bias any of us may have. The committee would meet once a month to start and we will just make a conference on yahoo or I can set up a chat. Respond here if interested

Let me go back and take something back. After thinking about and having talked to a few people, I am going to flip flop!! Vendor ties really couldn't effect on what would take place!! Sooooo pretend like you didnt read that up there and those of you that are interested please speak up and lets never speak of this miss step again!!!

Hi Mood, I think you got a good mixture with Racers you have now to set the rankings. Still, I believe it is really hard to differentiate racers between leagues.
Race formats, access to the actual track, before race to tune cars, different league rules for car design all come into play.
I have only been racing for less than a year and here is my conclusion on the best way of finding out who is the fastest.
I thought that the BGN venue was a great opportunity to showcase the racers on a common track where nobody really had an advantage. There were racers from the different leagues at this race and it really showed who had speed.
I saw the pictures that Shade put on the forums and I did not know many of the racers at CCRL. It would be fun to race and chat with these guys!
As with most racers, time is limited and family and keeping a job come first. Consequently, it is hard to race in more than one venue at a given time without such disturbances as upsetting one's spouse.
I believe that there is plenty of room for both leagues without the constant bantering that I see happening. Still, it would be nice to see an independent race where everyone could bring their best.
We are just having fun racing these little cars creating small moments of joy and developing friendships between racers.
Oh, Shade, Carolina, and BSB: The gift cards are in the mail/ ;D
Pretty Cool Stuff. I am having fun! Murph

5kids is added to that list.
I agree it could be difficult. We will weigh into consideration home track advantages some might have and or open tuning on tracks before races for live racers. With all that has been going on with leagues we've actually seen mixed league interaction to help some with results.
I don't care who is the fastest or who is on the list. My goal is to put out a list that most accurately covers all leagues/racers.

Murph,
I agree with different leagues it is hard to tell sometimes but the next dash 4 cash is maybe in october you should send a car or come meet everyone and see how you do. The cash prize would at least buy the wife something to keep her at bay. I know tunning on a track helps but the track is open to tunning anytime just let me know when. I would also be willing if anyone wanted to send me a car run it some for them and send them times before hand if this would help.

Slope, Thank you kindly for the reply. I would like to get over by you guys and do some racing. It would be nice to get to know you all. I know some of your racers very well. I have a very busy life and there is only so much time to devote to PWD racing when you have a family and a very demanding job. I am concentrating on PWDR but will keep you guys in mind this fall. Keep er' on three wheels Murph SLT
