Anyone heading out to the race? I have a field of sweet corn to get in this weekend. If it holds off until Sunday, I plan on going. If it's ready Saturday, I'm sending cars with Chuck.

John, maybe next time. I will probably be going to our church camp (Camp Caroline) Saturday. My wife will be directing a weekend camp (9-10yr old kids) for our church denomination. She left tonight for camp to prepare for a training session in the morning for her counselors. Good luck to all. Ed

Yes it was too long in my opinion and next time in a field that big I have some great suggestions from people that will spead up things some. I will have to say it was one of my top 3 races on a fun and fellowship stand point as I had a blast talking with everyone.

John, congrats on your stellar performance at ccrl!! I'm sure that makes the corn picking more tolerable.
If I was Chuck, I would have been as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof being the care taker of your cars!! Great job Chuck!!!

I think Chuck did a fantastic job, along with staging he kept me up to date from time to time with a quick text. I was very excited that my 1st ever stock wheels that I cut won on their debut race. The mod was repreped with the new process I've been running for the past month or so. As for the corn, the freezers are full of plenty of Bodacious yellow corn and Silver Queen white corn. The butter beans are the next on the list.
